Mission

The mission of The Craddock Center is to deliver educational and cultural programs to young children, families, and individual communities in Southern Appalachia. The area we serve consists of nine (9) counties including Dawson, Gilmer, Fannin, Lumpkin, Pickens, Towns, and Union Counties in Georgia, Polk County in Tennessee, and Cherokee County in North Carolina. Our role in promoting the mission of The Craddock Center is best described through active, hands-on outreach to the very young in preschool and Head Start programs. We share songs, dance, puppetry, movement, and stories.
