Mission

Bridge Receiving Center - a healing start for children entering foster care for the very first time. Bridge exists to provide children who have just been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect a better start Too often, already- traumatized children are further traumatized as they "bounce" from one temporary location to another while next steps are determined for them and for their families. Bridge Receiving Center offers these children a safe stable place to come and receive trauma responsive care from a staff that is trained to be there for children during this traumatic time in their lives. Children stay for up to 30 - 60 days while next steps are determined for them and for their families, all while receiving the healing care they need.
