Mission

Heartbeats of Hope was founded in memory of 17-year-old Katie Pittman, a leukemia victim. Katie's mission during treatment was to help other youth and children with cancer to have more pleasant hospital stays. She began a Christmas gift program, which Heartbeats of Hope has expanded to several times yearly. Visits are made to hospitals in Houston and Beaumont. We also sponsor blood/bone marrow drives and send children with cancer to camps.  In addition, Heartbeats of Hope works to help local families whose children are suffering from cancer.
