Mission
The Ingalls Development Foundation exists to reinvest in facilities, equipment, and services to benefit patients and to build financial stability for UChicago Ingalls Memorial while providing incremental financing beyond core needs that maintain and build upon clinical excellence. Recently merged with UChicago Medicine, Ingalls Memorial Hospital was originally started and still operates as a separately licensed nonprofit community hospital providing comprehensive healthcare services to the Chicago Southland community for more than 80 years. Ingalls is a nationally regional health system consisting of a 478-bed hospital, along with a network of comprehensive outpatient facilities. Ingalls has earned a national reputation and commendations for cancer, stroke, neurosciences, and orthopedics.
