"Founded by a never-smoker streak runner (someone who runs at least one mile every day without ever missing a day), Streak for a Cure, Inc. is working to change attitudes and beliefs about lung cancer and eliminate the stigma associated with this disease. Streak for a Cure is an all volunteer IRS approved 501(C)3 nonprofit dedicated to Lung Cancer education, survivor support and life-extending research. Streak for a Cure's projects have included promoting radon testing in homes, funding innovative lung cancer research, encouraging lung cancer screening for eligible individuals and working to help lung cancer have equal representation in federal research funding and community projects.
