Insurance Management Services (IMS) was formed in June 1983 with a mission of offering unequaled service for the self insured health benefits market. Over the years, due to this commitment to excellence, our organization has continued to grow. We now have three companies providing administration service for over 45,000 covered lives.
Our companies, IMS Marketing, IMS Managed Care and OMNI Networks provide turnkey administration service for our clients. Providing complete service in all areas enables us to be more efficient and cost effective for our clients and to properly and accurately respond to any situation which may arise. In addition, our web site allows employers, participants and providers immediate online access to plan and claim data.
Over the years we have evolved and grown to meet the demands of a changing market and will continue to do so. What started as a small business with manual claims administration has evolved into a full-service TPA with state-of-the-art automated systems still dedicated to our original mission - unequaled service.
For 40 years IMS has been a leader in Health Benefit Administration for employer groups of all sizes. We are locally owned and operated exclusively out of Amarillo, Texas where we offer our employees a positive business environment so that they can, in turn, offer our clients superior service.
What We Offer
Complete claim cost control delivered through the latest technology, well-trained staff and a dedicated Cost Control and Quality Assurance Unit. We maintain a highly automated claims system as well as the latest software to detect provider billing abuses, unusual treatments and fraud.
A comprehensive portfolio of Medical Management Programs delivered by an experienced staff of Registered Nurses and a Medical Director. These programs include traditional medical management as well as sophisticated programs for identifying and managing patients with chronic diseases and other risk factors.
Reporting Services second to none. We offer both standard and custom reporting services developed by our in-house IT Department. Our internal custom report builder allows IMS employees to create reports on demand.
Information Technology Department specializing in client specific electronic eligibility as well as EDI transactions and data analysis.
Online services at www.imstpa.com include eligibility, enrollment, claim status and a document library. Additions or changes to eligibility are automatically updated in our system nightly. We offer web portals for employers, employees and providers with a secure message system for electronic PHI transfers.
A Service Team dedicated to assisting you. Each of our clients is assigned a dedicated Claims Examiner, Customer Service Representative and an Account Manager incorporating service standards on the leading edge of the TPA Industry.
We perform an SSAE 16 review each year and consistently rank as a Preferred TPA by the leading Stop Loss Insurance Companies.
