Mission

Our mission is to promote and provide ethical and equitable therapies to fight cancer in animals. The focus of the Bauer Research Foundation (BRF) is in these main areas: 1) Equitable drug design: The BRF is committed to developing new therapies, especially designed to treat cancer in pets but also to benefit people as well, 2) Animal Welfare: The BRF is committed to raise to consciousness the need to honor laboratory companion animals and promote their transition to loving homes, 3) Helping Hand: The BRF is committed to providing a helping-hand as an information resource to animal parents that have pets with cancer, ​4) Promoting the Human-Animal Bond.
