Mission

InSitu Foundation is a 501(c)3 dedicated to training dogs to detect early stage cancer in humans. Our mission is to utilize canine scent detection to provide a diagnostic screening method for the early detection of cancer in humans.

Our screening methods are totally non-invasive. We use exhaled breath, urine, saliva, and sputum samples. Our screening methods are also low cost. You can simply breath into a surgical mask for 5 minutes. The most important thing to remember is that dogs are highly accurate at detecting early stage cancer. Published results show accuracy levels in both sensitivity and specificity hovering around 95 to 99%.

In Situ Foundation created the first recognized protocol for training bio- dogs (cancer detection dogs). This protocol is available to the public through Dina Zaphiris's Bio-Dog Training 6 Day Course.
